    Rebecca Wingate (M.S. CE ’12) Awarded Fulbright Fellowship

    The International Center is pleased to announce IIT's second Fulbright recipient in its history. Rebecca Wingate, a recent alumna who received her master's degree from IIT College of Engineering Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering last December, will be going to Hepia in Switzerland in September for her project titled "Lean Construction and Railway Infrastructure Maintenance."

    The Fulbright 2014–15 competition is now open! The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or English teaching assistantships. Special awards exist for students in the applied arts or business initiatives. Many countries are looking for STEM students.

Come to the Fulbright Information Session on Monday, April 22 at 12:55 pm in Perlstein Hall, Room 108 to learn about the program. Fulbright alumna Regina Mamou will be on hand to discuss the ins and outs of the application process and some benefits of the award. Snacks will be served.
