The Paul V. Galvin Library elevator is undergoing repair and will be out of service. On Wednesday, September 12, service will be interrupted intermittently, but on Thursday, September 13 starting at 5:00 am, the elevator will be out of service until the afternoon of Tuesday, September 18.

Preferential access to computers, scanners, and other hardware on the lower level will be given to those who cannot access those services on the upper level using the stairs. Individuals in need of assistance or access to service at Galvin Library during the repairs, please inquire at any service desk or call 312.567.3616.

There are occasional short periods of noise anticipated, with the bulk of the noisy work being done during the hours of 5:00 – 8:00 am to impact as few patrons as possible. Galvin Library’s overnight hours will still be offered and the Night Owl Lab will be open.
