Get Ready for Finals Week at Galvin Library

Finals week is fast approaching, and so are our fun finals week activities! Stop by the library for all of the tools you need to succeed this finals season.

From April 27 to May 9, we’ll be open for 24 hours to provide you with study spaces that are always available when you need them.

Struggling with writer’s block? Tutors from the Writing Center will be on the upper level of the library at the following dates and times:

  • Monday, April 28: 1–3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 29: 12–2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 30: 12–2 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 1: 12–2 p.m.
  • Monday, May 5: 1–3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 6: 11–1 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 7: 1–3 p.m.

Our librarians and research assistants are also available to assist you seven days a week, and ARC tutors will be available from Monday, May 5, to Thursday, May 8, from 12–7 p.m. and on Friday, May 9, from 12–3:30 p.m.

Need a study snack? Free coffee and cookies will be available on Tuesday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 7, in the library lobby at 8 p.m.

How about some encouragement from your furry friends? Therapy dogs will be in the library on Tuesday, May 6; Wednesday, May 7; and Thursday, May 8, on the upper level of the library from 12:40–2 p.m.

Finding it difficult to relax? Come check out our stress relief stations on the upper level! We’ll have coloring sheets, paper crafts, games, and puzzles.
