Many IIT students are faced with a daunting task: using library resources to complete a class assignment or project. Navigating these resources can be a difficult task for both incoming and returning students. Luckily, Undergraduate Research Specialists (URS) are here to help. They can answer questions related to how to use Galvin Library to perform research on a given topic. The URS are composed of 11 undergraduates from a variety of majors.
The 2011-2012 URS are:
• Emily Hommerding, Physics ’13
• Julia Kuzel, Political Science ’13
• Moses Cho, Chemical Engineering ’12
• Arathi Jayaraman, Psychology/Pre-med ’12
• Drexler James, Psychology/Bio minor ’13
• Anita Thomas, Math ’13
• Walmir Luz, Architecture ’15
• Jill Ishii, Civil Engineering ’12
• Bir Kafle, Computer Engineering ’12
• Carolyn Boswell, Mechanical Engineering ’14
