Global Upstanders: The Power of One

THE NEW YOU (2)49

Join us on Monday, April 4 during the common hour (12:50–1:40 p.m.) in The McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Ballroom for an interactive workshop on global citizenship and creating change. This session is developed to provoke thought and inspire action – teaching and learning alongside of one another to become Global Upstanders. Jessica Hulten of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center (ILHMEC) will be leading the activities. Located in Skokie, Illinois Tech has a long-standing relationship with ILHMEC – going back all the way to the first wire recorder invented by Marvin Camras, which allowed the oral history of the Jewish community to be recorded immediately following the end of the war.
