A reminder that Concept Notes for the Grainger Computing Innovation Prize are due before Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

The competition is open to ALL Illinois Tech undergraduate and master’s students, regardless of major or experience level. We encourage you to participate, collaborate with others, and turn your ideas into innovative solutions that can benefit society. Learn more at https://www.iit.edu/graingerprize.

How to Participate

Step 1: Develop an innovative idea that benefits society and incorporates some form of transformative computing.

Step 2: Form a team of two to five students, including at least one undergraduate student. Diverse, cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged and often bring the strongest ideas.

Step 3: Register your team and complete the Concept Note by Friday, September 25, at 11:59 p.m. (Late submissions will not be accepted.)
