he 2026–2027 Student Health Waiver opens on June 6, 2026. Fall incoming students who do not wish to be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) and have comparable health insurance with a start date of August 1, have until Tuesday, August 25, 2026, to opt out using the online waiver.

International students who would like to waive the student health insurance plan, must have a comparable domestic U.S. health insurance plan that meets the waiver requirements. Please call or email our office to request the link to the international waiver form.
