In order to better serve students this spring, the Idea Shop has implemented some changes based on user feedback received last fall.

Major changes to the safety training policy include:

• No more walk-in safety training. All safety trainings will be scheduled with a signup form on our website. ideashop.iit.edu
• Trainings will happen Mondays through Fridays for the first four weeks of the semester, and then select days every other week until week 14.
• The new safety training will be more comprehensive in an attempt to impart more skills onto the students and increase our user throughput. Sessions are 1.5 hours for all users even if they had completed a previous Idea Shop training as we will be covering hands-on tool use.
