IIT School of Applied Technology Reaccredited for IACET CEUs

IIT School of Applied Technology (SAT) has been reaccredited as an Authorized Provider of IACET CEUs. This prestigious accreditation demonstrates SAT’s commitment to high-quality lifelong learning. IACET is the International Association for Continuing Education and Training and CEUs (continuing education units) are important for professionals in recertification. The accreditation period extends for five years and includes all programs offered or created during that time.

“We are pleased to continue our relationship with Illinois Institute of Technology’s School of Applied Technology as an Authorized Provider,” stated Michael Todd Shinholster, president of IACET.

In order to achieve Authorized Provider accreditation, IIT’s SAT completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration and evaluation of its programs. IIT’s SAT has pledged its continued compliance with the standard, and is now authorized to use the IACET name and Authorized Provider logo on promotional course material.

A special thank you is extended to Janet Reif for overseeing the reaccreditation process.
