Matthew Lechowick (M.Arch ’07) will showcase his furniture and product designs at Salone Satellite 2013. Lechowick was selected as one of five designers representing the United States and one of 121 designers worldwide to showcase his designs at this year’s prestigious trade fair in Milan, Italy, April 9-14.

Salone is a furniture fair held annually in Milan since 1961 and is the largest trade fair of its kind in the world. The Salone Satellite was created in 1998 for the express purpose of bringing together the most promising young designers, important business people and talent scouts to visit or exhibit at the Salone.

A California native, Matthew Lechowick is a young designer working and teaching in Sacramento, California. His collection works to provide functional solutions to everyday needs in artistic and creative ways, emphasizing both necessity and creativity in each piece. He is showing four pieces at the fair, including the Reveal Clock.
