IIT Architecture Students: Out of the Woods Project

IIT College of Architecture first year architecture design students have designed and built functional and figural works of wood recovered from trees in Reed-Keppler Park which was hit by a July 2012 storm.

The student work will be displayed at West Chicago’s annual Railroad Days festival which will take place Thursday, July 10-Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the park located at 129 West National Street in West Chicago marking the two-year anniversary of the storm. The hours are:  5-10 pm on July 10; 5-11 pm on July 11; noon-midnight on July 12, and 3-10 pm on July 13. Admission is free. Call 630.231.3003 for more information.
