The Illinois Institute of Technology Boeing Scholars Academy—a free, two-year academic enrichment program in
science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields—is seeking volunteers to work closely with high-achieving diverse teens from Chicago-area high schools. We welcome involvement from IIT students, alumni, faculty, staff and the greater Chicagoland community!
We are now accepting applications for project mentors. This is a 10-month volunteer position that involves guiding a team of IIT Boeing Scholars as they endeavor to make a positive impact on their communities. It is a highly rewarding opportunity to work closely with and make an impact on Chicago youth. View more information about becoming a project mentor on the Boeing Scholars website.
We are also recruiting for general volunteers to chaperone students on field trips, talk about various academic and career fields, and help students work on their college applications. More information and volunteer sign up form here.
