IIT Chicago-Kent Celebrates Banned Books Week

The American Library Association’s Office of Intellectual Freedom established Banned Books Week in 1982 in response to the increase in the number of banned or challenged books in libraries, schools and bookstores. Banned Books Week continues through Saturday, September 28, 2013 and is designed to celebrate the freedom to read all types of literary work.

The IIT Chicago-Kent Law Library is observing Banned Books Week by posting comments by faculty staff and alumni about their favorite banned or challenged book on its blog.
