The program is held in conjunction with “The Art of Influence: Breaking Criminal Traditions” exhibit which features 38 pieces of art in several mediums representing works by several of the Midwest’s most prominent artists. “The Art of Influence: Breaking Criminal Traditions” exhibit is curated by Charles Gniech and will run through Monday, February 3, 2014 at IIT Chicago-Kent.

The weekly discussions will explore the use of art and culture as strategic tools for creating social and legal change. The programs will be hosted by Cheryl Jefferson, executive producer of “The Art of Influence: Breaking Criminal Traditions” exhibit and will feature art from the display as the starting point for each conversation. Periodically, guest experts will attend.
