For students planning to stay in Chicago during the summer who like cricket, tryouts for the IIT Scarlet Hawks Cricket team are taking place from 4:15-7 pm on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 on the grounds located next to the Ed Glancy Field and across from the Keating Gym.

The IIT Cricket Club is part of the Midwest Cricket Conference which is a cricket league of Chicago including surrounding cities and suburbs. The Cricket League Season runs from May -September and the games are held on Saturdays and/or Sundays every week.

Students interested in trying out must be enrolled at IIT and available on weekends from May-September 2014.

Note: If the weather does not permit tryouts on May 20 for weather-related reasons, the make up date will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
