IIT hosted a delegation of seven Japanese educators on Main Campus in partnership with WorldChicago on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. As part of their visit to campus, the educators met with staff members from the Office of Undergraduate Admission, the Office of Professional Development, and the Office of Student Access, Success, and Diversity Initiatives. The delegation was also presented with an overview of the Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program while touring the Idea Shop.
In October, WorldChicago partnered with IIT to host Nami Jinda, unit chief of the Analytical Research Planning Division in Japan’s Lifelong Learning Policy Bureau. During her visit to Main Campus, Jinda discussed recruitment and support strategies for international students from Japan during a meeting with staff members from International Affairs, Undergraduate Admission, the International Center, and Student Access, Success, and Diversity Initiatives.
