With this Spring semester, IIT Online is now part of Academic Affairs. IIT Online provides faculty development, support, and training around teaching and curriculum with a focus on distance education and technology. This includes – but is not limited to – faculty support around Blackboard Learn, our online learning environment. In addition, IIT Online provides media production services for classes and other university events. IIT Online has long supported faculty and departments across Illinois Tech. Moving to Academic Affairs highlights this work with faculty and staff, promoting IIT Online’s university-wide services not exclusively limited to certain courses, faculty, or students.
