IIT professor and former chair of the Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering Jamal S. Yagoobi will join Worcester Polytechnic Institute as the George I. Alden Professor and head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in January, the university announced on December 2.
