IIT Stuart School of Business Industry Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship Nik Rokop Mentored Lithuanian Entrepreneurs as Part of Accelerator Program

IIT Stuart School of Business Industry Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship Nik Rokop hosted and mentored two young entrepreneurs from Lithuania as part of a startup accelerator from July 20-August 14. The program, which was made possible through a partnership between the University Technology Park at IIT and Technopolis in Lithuania, provided full funding for the entrepreneurs to travel to Chicago, develop their startups, and connect with Chicago’s rich community of entrepreneurs.
The two entrepreneurs were Paulius Paskevicius, CEO of Solid Education, whose company provides game development instruction to youth in 22 cities and towns in Lithuania; and Justas Pikelis, CEO of Stebink, whose company develops and provides provocative advertising technologies and experiences for big brands. The two participants were selected by Technopolis as part of a national startup competition.
The accelerator program was recently profiled in an article in Delfi Verslas, a Lithuanian-language newspaper: Read the article here.
