IIT’s Industrial Technology and Management Adjunct Professor Dan Tomal and his fall 2013 IPRO students have partnered with the Student Committee of the Electrical Contractors’ Association of City of Chicago to learn how to enhance a landmark building’s energy efficiency while adhering to strict landmark status building codes.

Tomal’s IPRO, “Developing Insights that Support Energy Efficiency Improvement Strategies for Varied Building Environments,” chose the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater located at 2433 North Lincoln Avenue in Chicago for their study. The students will present their findings at the IPRO Day which takes place on Friday, November 22, 2013
