IIT and ASM Chicago Regional Chapter invite teachers to attend a one-week professional development workshop this summer – at no cost!

The ASM Materials Camp will take place July 8-12, 2013 at IIT’s Main Campus.  Help us spread the word to teachers about this opportunity to get something they can really use in their classrooms!

Who should attend?

  • High school general science, chemistry, physics, math and technology teachers
  • Middle school physical science teachers

Why attend?

  • Learn how to engage students using simple, low-cost experiments that you can integrate into existing lesson plans
  • Help students discover career opportunities in science and engineering

“The camp exceeded all of my expectations and I was pleased to be shown so many demos and labs that I will be able to implement even on a tight budget… I have never been to an in-service where I felt as cared for as at the ASM camp… The master teachers really knew their stuff and modeled an inquiry approach to learning. The best in-service I have ever attended!” – Valerie Stone, Red Lion High School, 2012 Lehigh Valley Teachers Camp

Everything is FREE: 4 CEUs, materials, lunches & snacks

Graduate credits available! Two (2) graduate credits available (at participant’s expense) through the University of Missouri-Kansas City at $250. (This is optional.)
