IIT’s Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research (WISER) will serve as a co-sponsor of the 2014 Summer Institute on Sustainability and Energy (SISE), to be hosted by University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) on August 6-20. The SISE theme, “Urban Energy,” will feature a two-week intensive workshop for graduate and senior-level undergraduate students from a broad range of disciplines. Several IIT faculty will serve as instructors for the program. Participants should have an expressed interest in sustainability and energy as evidenced by either educational or practical experience.
