IIT Mathematica User Group Meeting Today

The IIT Mathematica User Group (IITMUG) will be holding its next meeting on Wednesday, March 6 from 12:45–1:45 pm in E1 025. IIT has a liberal site license that permits installation of Mathematica 9 on both university-owned and faculty/student personal computers. The purpose of the IITMUG is to promote the effective use of Mathematica by sharing information, tips and techniques in an informal, cooperative and fun setting. Both experienced and novice Mathematica users are welcome, whether students, faculty or staff.

The agenda for this meeting will be:
a) James McNeely: building advanced user interfaces with Manipulate
b) Barrett Leslie: ideas on education with Mathematica
c) Open forum
