Illinois Tech Applied Math Hosts NSF-Sponsored Conference on Nonlocal Dynamics

A National Science Foundation-sponsored conference on “Nonlocal Dynamics: Theory, Computation and Applications” is being held on Illinois Tech’s Mies Campus this week, June 5–9, 2017.

The conference focuses on nonlocal partial differential equations as macroscopic models for complex systems under long range interactions or subject to non-Gaussian random fluctuations (such as heavy tailed Levy noise).

This conference is organized by Jinqiao Duan (duan@iit.edu) and Xiaofan Li (lix@iit.edu), professors of applied mathematics. More information can be found here.
