Illinois Tech will host several Community Farmers Markets beginning Saturday, May 20, and running through October 2023. The market will showcase local farmers and artisans, and will include a variety of offerings. It will take place in parking lot D4 under the Green Line “L” station (between 35th and 34th streets). The market will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following Saturdays: May 20, June 3 and 17, July 15, and 29, August 12 and 26, September 9, and October 7 and 21.

The market will feature greens, kale, tomatoes, turnips, and other produce, as well as eggs, honey, jams, baked goods, coffee, fresh flowers, and hummus. Artisan products include organic skincare, organic beauty products, body butters, and black soap.
