As of September 24, links to midterm surveys are live for students’ courses in the Activity Stream on Blackboard. This anonymous survey will be open for a week until midnight on Sunday, September 30.
Faculty members will be able to review the response rate in each Blackboard course, as well as the results once the survey has closed.
This is an institution-wide initiative (with the exception of Chicago-Kent College of Law and the Institute of Design) in response in part to a request from the Student Government Association, but is also intended to provide better and earlier formal feedback from students. This material is intended only for instructors as a way to understand students’ assessment of the course so far. The results of these midterm surveys are not official course evaluations. The end-of-term course evaluation will ask the same questions and that feedback will be recorded.
Faculty will also receive an email communication with more details.
Please contact the Office of Digital Learning Support Desk to submit a ticket if you have questions or issues.
