Illinois Tech Night at the Art Institute – April 10

On behalf of the Office of Student Life, you are invited to join us for a free night at the Art Institute of Chicago on Thursday, April 10, from 5–8 pm. This event is open to all staff, faculty, and students, as well as your guests! Enjoy a special lecture on drawing and printmaking, explore exhibitions like Frida Kahlo’s Month in Paris, and take part in an exclusive tour on the intersection of art and technology. Art and Technology: More than a Casual Acquaintance
This tour will highlight some of the important ways in which art and technology have intersected throughout history, mutually influencing each other, leading the way to important breakthroughs, and intersecting to transcend the purview of each field. The tour will feature examples from the Renaissance to the present, and from a range of disciplines, including fine arts, architecture, and design. Note: The tour will take place from 6–7 p.m.
