Illinois Tech Now Offering PMP® Certification Exam Prep

Illinois Tech is now offering a five-day, 40-hour course to prepare project/program managers for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam at the Rice Campus in Wheaton, Illinois. The course is also for professionals, managers, and executives who manage and/or interface with project managers to refresh/learn in-depth the best current practices in project management. Classes run every month (see website for dates).

  • Who Should Attend: Project managers, senior project managers, director PMO, director or VP project/programs, program managers, portfolio managers, technical project managers, supply chain managers, contract managers, project coordinators, and executives that oversee projects and programs
  • Prerequisites: A B.S. degree with three years of work managing or interfacing with project or program management or a high-school diploma with five years of experience in performing, managing, or interfacing with project or program management

This course can be applied to the required hours to take the PMP or CAPM examination. It also can be used toward 40 hours of continuing education units. It is based on the Project Management Institute, Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), Latest Edition.

Value Add: The course is instructor-led and very interactive with quizzes and sample exams that are solved in the class. The instructor brings 20+ years of project, program, and executive management experience to the classroom to provide real-life examples that help cement the concepts.
