Marge Collens, wife of former Illinois Institute of Technology President Lew Collens, passed away December 10, 2015. Marge and Lew were happily married for 53 years. Earlier this year, they celebrated the marriage of their son Steven Collens to Caralynn Nowinski.

The funeral service for Marge Collens was held at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home in Wilmette, Ill. on December 13. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Chicago High School for the Arts, 2714 W. Augusta Boulevard, Chicago, 60622, or Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, 1147 W.
