By now, many of you have heard about the new weather camera that was recently installed on the IIT Tower rooftop. ABC7, the number-one news station in Chicago, has agreed to use the camera shot from our campus during live on-air weathercasts.

Illinois Tech is now among a prestigious list of iconic Chicago landmark buildings, such as Willis Tower and Shedd Aquarium, to host a weather camera. We will be the only university to host an ABC7 weather camera. Be sure to tune into any ABC7 weathercast in the coming weeks. You should begin seeing our beautiful campus on-air soon.
