Campus 1871 was a success again this year, and by some accounts, was the best event to date. Illinois Tech students represented themselves extremely well, with all four winning teams (there was a third place tie) having one or more Illinois Tech students.

1st Place: Grapevine
Description: A platform that matches black women with black hair stylists
Illinois Tech student: Zuri McClelland (grad, BME)
2nd Place: ChiDates
Description: A video-based dating service targeting the Indian population
Illinois Tech students: Sunny Shah (ugrad, LEWIS), Ricky Leavell (ugrad, CHENG)
3rd Place (tie): AnySpace
Description: A platform to match organizations with available space to those that need space
Illinois Tech students: Peter Rigali (ugrad, ARCH), Ray Bizauskas (ugrad, SSB), Patrick Bartman (ugrad, ECE)
3rd Place (tie): EquipMe
Description: A platform for helping disabled people find medical equipment and goods
