Department of Applied Mathematics Assistant Professor Matthew Dixon, together with faculty at the University of Texas and the University of Manitoba, will run a Foundations of Blockchain Analytics Workshop at the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute (SAMSI) from October 6-7.

The research workshop will bring together world experts in data science, fintech, encryption, monetary systems and regulation to address how Blockchain Analytics can advance applications such as cryptocurrency, fraud detection and supply chain management.

Illinois Tech Ph.D. students interested in presenting a poster at the event should contact Professor Dixon to discuss travel arrangements.
