The chapter recognizes high-performing students and academics in computing fields who contribute towards the advancement of computing science. The chapter connects members to research and employment opportunities, encourages participation in computing conferences, programs educational events, volunteers to inspire young people towards careers in computing, and provides feedback on the CS curriculum.

The chapter is open to undergraduate, graduate, and transfer students, who must complete a certain number of hours of coursework and meet minimum GPA requirements.
