Illinois Tech’s Office of Marketing and Communications Wins Two Awards from the Publicity Club of Chicago

Cj_fvcAUUAAzI1mIllinois Tech’s Office of Marketing and Communications was honored with two awards at the Publicity Club of Chicago’s 57th Annual Golden Trumpet Awards banquet held on June 2 at The Palmer House Hilton. The award program recognizes distinguished achievement in the planning, creativity, and execution of public relations and communications initiatives.

The IIT Magazine 125th Anniversary Trilogy—a three-issue themed set that celebrated the university’s “People.Places.Things.” in recognition of Illinois Tech’s 125th anniversary in 2015—won a Golden Trumpet Award in the Communications Materials: Newsletters or Magazines category.

The office also earned a Silver Trumpet Award in the Marketing: Education category for strategic planning and materials in the IIT Undergraduate Recruitment Campaign 2015–16, which featured new content and updated branding for the viewbook; sophomore and junior academic brochures; admitted students packet, including a video for admitted students; deposited students packet; athletics brochure; assorted letters, postcards, and a student life email campaign; and updated website content.
