As announced on October 26, the operations of the physical bookstore spaces on Mies Campus and at Conviser Law Center have permanently closed. The new Illinois Tech Virtual Bookstore, powered by BNC Services, is now open! Effective immediately, students are invited to visit the new bookstore website and select textbook and course materials for spring 2024. Below is some helpful information that you may need to know when communicating with students about their books and ordering.
Quick Tips Regarding the Virtual Bookstore
Each student’s bookstore is tailored, built around a course-driven system that ensures they order and receive the correct books, right on time. Their textbooks and course materials are shipped from a state-of-the-art warehouse.
As students purchase their course materials, they should keep their eyes open for Guaranteed Buyback titles. When they select these in-demand items, they will see the minimum amount of money returned when they sell their books back.
Limited Time Free Shipping Offer
Students now have the flexibility to order books directly to their home or their preferred campus. If they choose to have their books delivered to Mies Campus or Conviser Law Center, shipping is free. To qualify for free shipping, their order must be submitted by December 27, 2023. Books delivered to campus will be distributed in January. They will receive an email when their books are ready for pickup on campus including the location details. After December 27, there is free standard shipping for orders over $59 and a $10 flat shipping rate via UPS Ground.

Logging in: As a first time user of the site, a student may bypass the login feature in the top menu and will be prompted to create an account at checkout.
Course selection: There are two options: a student may either select courses from their schedule and add them individually, or select “Show All Courses” and check the ones they want to review and add to their cart.
Optional items: BNC Virtual may suggest optional related materials. Students should feel free to click “No Thanks” to continue to checkout.
Book vouchers: The option to apply a Book Advance (Financial Aid Voucher) toward their purchase will present during checkout. Eligible students will receive their access code by email from BNC Services. Questions regarding eligibility can be directed to Student Accounting at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Returning books: Students should visit the Help Center to learn more about returns, shipping, and other support information.
