All guests are encouraged to go to the North Building, Hall B1 as soon as they arrive at McCormick Place; they should NOT go with you to the student lineup area. The doors to the North Building, Hall B1 will open at 7 a.m. and will close at 8:45 a.m. The Main Ceremony will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Any guests who arrive late will be allowed into the hall once the national anthem has concluded.

Parking

Please view the McCormick Place website for onsite parking information. Because Illinois Tech’s Commencement events will be held in the North Building of the convention center, McCormick Place asks that graduating students and guests use Lot A for parking. Alternatively, attendees may elect to park on Illinois Tech’s Mies Campus for free and then take public transportation (Green Line “L”) or a cab/ride share to McCormick Place.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you Saturday!

Sincerely,
