The Payroll Office will be closed from Monday December 25, 2023, through Monday January 1, 2024. Payroll will reopen on Tuesday January 2, 2024. Employees will be paid according to the following schedule:

Monthly Payroll: All employees paid on a monthly basis with direct deposit will have their accounts posted on Friday December 29, 2023.
Biweekly Payroll: All employees paid on a biweekly basis will be paid for the period of December 10, 2023, through December 23, 2023, on Friday, December 29, 2023.

Due to the Christmas Holiday, time sheets for the period of December 10 through December 23 for pay date of December 29 MUST be submitted by 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, and approved no later than 4 p.m.

Hours worked and recorded on the time sheet for the pay period of December 10, 2023, through December 23, 2023, should be estimated and can be adjusted on the following pay period if needed.

December 25, 2023, and January 1, 2024, are national holidays. Eligible non-exempt (hourly) employees who are required to work on December 25 and January 1 will be paid for the hours worked plus an additional ½ time for working on the holiday for a total of 1½ times their hourly pay rate.

December 26, 27, 28, and 29, 2023, are university holidays. Non-exempt (hourly) employees who are required to work on any of these days must record that time as hours worked on the timesheet. Non-exempt employees will be paid at their regular hourly rate for work performed on December 26, 27, 28, and 29 of December. Non-exempt and exempt employees who work December 25, 2023, and January 1, 2024, may take a floating holiday for each day worked with the approval of the supervisor, provided that the floating holiday is used between December 1, 2023, and January 31, 2024. Floating holidays issued for this purpose that are not taken by January 31, 2024, will be forfeited. There will be no exceptions.

As a reminder, nonexempt employees must record all hours worked on the timesheet and any hours worked over 40 in the work week will be compensated at 1½ times the employee’s regular hourly rate.
