College of Architecture alumnus Virgil Abloh (M.A.R. ARCH 06)​ named Louis Vuitton’s new artistic director of men’s collections

Virgil Abloh (M.A.R. ARCH 06)​ received a master’s degree in architecture at the College of Architecture after obtaining a civil engineering bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Abloh is the first African-American designer to head up design at an LVMH-owned house. This honor was recognized in several media outlets, including Newsweek, the Chicago Sun-Times, Rolling Out, Vanity Fair, the Chicago Tribune, the New York Times, Forbes, GQ Magazine, the Washington Post, and Vogue.
