Interested in Teaching Secondary Mathematics or Science?

All are invited to an Open House with Mathematics and Science Education faculty on Tuesday April 21, 2015, from 12:30-1:45 p.m. at 3424 S. State Street, Room 4007 to discuss the pathway to becoming a secondary mathematics or science teacher in Illinois.

Students who major in mathematics, science, or engineering can take additional hours of education classes to earn the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education minor.

If you are interested in pursuing a teaching career, RSVP today. Earning the STEM Education minor equips you with the academic background and professional skills necessary for a successful career in teaching, one of today’s most rewarding professions.

To RSVP call or email Judith Lederman, associate professor and director of teacher education, at 312.567.3662 or ledermanj@iit.edu to reserve a space.
