Do you have a project you want to explore as a possible business or social venture? Do you have an entrepreneurial idea you want to test? Take BUS 467 (IPRO I-course pilot) New Venture Development in the fall 2020 semester and satisfy one of your IPRO requirements.
Students will work in teams of three–four with technical and non-technical team members, engage with expert mentors in the community, and attend local meetings relevant to their projects. In the past, some students successfully started their business in this course while others made progress on their existing ideas. This course is modeled after university accelerator programs, and while there is a focus on venture development, its primary purpose is to expose students to the startup process.
