It’s still not too late to sign up to be a guest or judge at IPRO Day, taking place from 10 am – 3 pm this Friday, November 30 at Hermann Hall.
The Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program organizes undergraduate students from IIT’s colleges as multidisciplinary teams to work on complex, open-ended projects that tackle the challenges of our times. IIT faculty and staff and professionals from the Chicago area are invited to serve as judges or are welcome to attend as guests.
Guided by faculty members from diverse fields, IPRO teams may be focused on infrastructure planning, product and process innovation, renewable energy and sustainability, service learning, and community development. Fall IPRO sponsors community partners include A.Finkl & Sons, Nokia, Mi-Jack, A. M.Castle, OMRON Automotive Electronics, Dr. Elsie Young Community Center, The Plant, and the Electrical Contractors Association of the City of Chicago.
The IPRO Day event is the culmination of IPRO teamwork via exhibits and presentations. At the fall 2012 IPRO Day, held from 10 am – 3 pm on Friday, November 30 in Hermann Hall, 46 IPRO teams will showcase and share their accomplishments.
