Thomas Irving, IIT biology chair and professor, will lecture on “Time-Resolved Diffraction and Scattering from Non-Crystalline Biological Materials: Present Status and Future Prospects” at the Hamburg Center for Ultrafast Imaging International Symposium in Hamburg, Germany, November 12-14, 2014.
The symposium brings together leading scientists to present and discuss the latest results and developments in the fields of photon and nanoscience, including topics from experimental and theoretical ultra-fast physics, solid state physics, X-ray and laser science, quantum optics and nanoscience.
Irving is one of 14 invited speakers; others are from Switzerland, France, Japan, Canada, Italy, and Germany.
