Dear Illinois Tech Students,

You are invited to join the 2024 Student Voices Summit on Tuesday, October 22, from 12:45–1:45 p.m. in The McCormick Tribune Campus Center Auditorium.

Each year the Center for Research and Service (CRS) conducts Illinois Tech’s Students Voices Survey to collect constructive data from students regarding their perceptions of services provided from five different departments/areas. Departments are not surveyed in consecutive years to allow administrators the opportunity to address issues identified in the surveys. The Student Voice Committee, made up of undergraduate and graduate students from across Illinois Tech, works with each of the departments to ensure appropriate survey items are identified and administered.

This year the survey addressed the Idea Shop/Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship, Office of Global Services, Career Services, The Bog/Office of Campus Life, and the Office of Disability Resources.

At the summit, students will be sharing the survey results including comments and recommendations. Administrators from each of the surveyed areas will also be asked to briefly address the issues and recommendations presented.

Please join me as we get our students’ feedback this year.

Sincerely,

Kenneth T. Christensen
Provost, Senior Vice President for Student Affairs, and Chief Academic Officer
