Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship Contest for Pre-Health Students

The premedical advisory committee has one Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship available to award for students interested in taking a course to prepare for the MCAT, DAT, OAT, PCAT, or GRE. This scholarship is for the full cost of the course.

Students must not be currently enrolled in a Kaplan test prep course, and this scholarship is not good for Admissions Consulting, One-on-One tutoring packages, PLUS Programs, or Intensive Programs.

To apply for this scholarship, you must submit a one–two page essay on what you have been doing to prepare yourself for your chosen health-profession school, and why you feel the Kaplan test prep will better prepare you for the exam. Please address your current efforts to prepare yourself (shadowing and other relevant experiences), a current unofficial Illinois Tech transcript, and future plans.

All materials are to be submitted to Kathryn Spink by noon on Thursday, October 15.  If awarded, the scholarship must be redeemed by June 30, 2021 (i.e. you must register for your course before this date but may take a course next year). For any questions, contact Kathryn Spink, spink@iit.edu.
