Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship for Illinois Tech Students

The premedical advisory committee has one Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship available to award to students interested in taking a course to prepare for the MCAT, DAT, OAT, PCAT, or GRE. This scholarship is for the full cost of the course.

Students must not be currently enrolled in a Kaplan test prep course. This scholarship is not good for one-to-one tutoring packages, summer intensive programs, or PLUS course options. To apply, you must submit a 1-2 page essay on what you have been doing to prepare yourself for your chosen health-profession school and why you feel the Kaplan test prep will better prepare you for the exam. Please address your current efforts to prepare yourself (shadowing and other relevant experiences), a current unofficial IIT transcript, and future plans. All materials are to be submitted to Kathryn Spink, director of Pre-Health Professions Programs, by noon on Monday, April 15. If awarded, the scholarship must be redeemed by December 31, 2019. You must register for your course before the end of the year but may take a course next year. For any questions, contact Kathryn Spink at spink@iit.edu.
