Kaplan/Princeton Review/Next Step Test Prep Scholarship Contest for Pre-Health Students

The pre-medical advisory committee has various test prep scholarships available:

  • One Kaplan Test Prep Scholarship that can be applied to MCAT, DAT, OAT, PCAT, or GRE (vet). Students must not be currently enrolled in a Kaplan test prep course, and this scholarship is not good for one-to-one tutoring packages, summer intensive programs, PCAT On-demand, or advantage+course options. The scholarship must be redeemed by Friday, June 30, 2017.
  • One Princeton Review MCAT Test Prep Scholarship. This does not apply to tutoring, the Princeton review satisfaction or readiness guarantee. This must be redeemed by June 30, 2017.
  • One Next Step Online MCAT Test Prep Scholarship. This must be redeemed by Wednesday, May 31, 2017.
  • Four MCAT exam bundles from Next Step.

To apply for any of these scholarships, you must submit a one to two page essay on what you have been doing to prepare yourself for your chosen health-profession school and why you feel the test prep will better prepare you for the exam. You should also indicate which scholarships you are interested in, and if multiples are suitable, rank them in order of preference. Address your current efforts to prepare yourself (shadowing and other relevant experiences) and your future plans, and include a current unofficial transcript. Applications must be submitted by Thursday, September 15, 2016 at noon to Kathryn Spink, spink@iit.edu. For any questions, contact Spink at spink@iit.edu.
