The Vedic Vision Society presents this week’s menu for “Krishna Lunch,” a $5 Indian lunch and dessert packaged and ready for pick-up from 11 am-1 pm this week. Pick-up locations are the lobbies of Siegel Hall and Stuart Building on the Main Campus.
Tuesday, October 29: Rice, Gauranga Potato (potato curry in a lightly spiced cream sauce), Channa Masala (chickpeas in a flavorful sauce) and Halwa (dessert squares made from wheat semolina, clarified butter, and sugar)
Wednesday, October 30: Flavored Rice, Malai Kofta (veggie balls in creamy tomato paste), and Simply Wonderfuls (milk fudge)
Thursday, October 31: Flavored Rice, Mutter Paneer (home-made, fresh cheese cubes in a creamy sauce with peas), and Gulab Jamun (lightly fried milk balls soaked in rose-flavored sugar syrup)
Friday, November 1: Vegetable Biryani (flavored rice with vegetables), Tomato Raita (yogurt dip with tomatoes), a pickle and Halwa (dessert squares made from wheat semolina, clarified butter, and sugar)
