Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian have left audiences divided on their behavior this year, but everyone held their breath as they hoped Drake would propose to Rihanna at the VMAs. Showing emotion in front of the whole pop-culture world, Drake’s speech left a few of us close to tears. But why is this kind of recognition something that we rarely see, and more importantly, something some of us don’t dream of doing?

Using a viral TED Talk by Brene Brown focusing on vulnerability, the Leadership Luncheon on Thursday, October 27 from 12:50-1:40 p.m. in the John T. Rettaliata Engineering Center, Room 102 will look at the behaviors of Drake, ourselves, and the people around us. How are we being open, honest, and true?
