Join the Office of Campus Life for their last luncheon of the semester, hosted by the Leadership Academy, on Friday, April 17, at 12:45 p.m. in the Hermann Hall Alumni Lounge. Lunch will be provided.
The presentation will discuss how leaders make ethical decisions based on individual personalities and characteristics, cultural backgrounds and settings, and personal values. It will also discuss what it means to be an ethical leader and how ethics can make an impact on the community’s goals and needs. Outside of the presentation, attendees will learn to engage in the practice of ethical decision making. Overall, the seminar will help:
- Explore how ethical values are formed and priorities change
- Develop the ability to analyze situations and make ethical choices that leaders face every day
- Engage in group discussion on the difference in ethics between cultures
- Participate in hypothetical scenarios that require a deep understanding and review of ethics
- Practice effective communication strategies for ethical discussions
