Learn More About Illinois Tech’s Joint B.S./M.A.T. Program with NLU

Dear Illinois Tech Students,

We are excited to announce that Illinois Tech and National Louis University are partnering to offer a joint Bachelor of Science/Master of Arts in teaching program.

Students who take part in the program can earn a master’s degree and teaching license at National Louis University while you complete your bachelor’s degree at Illinois Tech. Gain the skills that you need to address the growing demand for qualified STEM educators.

National Louis University’s teacher preparation program includes hands-on learning, extended field experiences, and practitioner-led courses that develop educators who make a difference.

The program is open to students who are enrolled in applied mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics, and could potentially be available for engineering and computer science students.

Scholarships are available for students in the joint B.S./M.A.T. program. Students in the program can apply for the National Science Foundation’s Robert Noyce Scholarship, which offers up to $30,000 over two years.
